From July, 12th to August, 3rd Elke and I have been in Corse. It was a very tough trip as we only used trains and our bikes, which is really a hard job in Corse - sometimes it seemed to us that there isn't a single meter of flat ground on this "wild beauty" as the isle is often called.

We choose three reports out of our travel diary to give you a glimpse of our trip:

Cap Corse At the very beginning of the trip we rode from Bastia all the way up to the cape in the north of the island. It was one of the finest ...
Col de Vergio The Col de Vergio is the highest point you can reach on a street in Corse. It was a big effort (especially for Elke: we already had a lot of miles in our legs) to ride it.
Tavignano Corse is highly frequented by "randoneurs" which is french for hiker. So we also did a little walk into the wonderfull valley of the river Tavignano.
